Blue Agave's Replenishment applications enable consumer products companies to improve store-level execution performance by anticipating store/SKU level issues, identifying root cause, and guiding resolution — all before revenue and service are impacted. Leveraging all available data sources, including RFID and POS, these predictive applications deliver real-time, retail insight down to the most granular store/SKU levels. Blue Agave provides the tools and information necessary for replenishment and account teams to understand, decide, and efficiently act to consistently keep shelves stocked and customers satisfied.
Blue Agave's Replenishment applications include:
- Store-level Stock-Out
- Anticipates, identifies, and presents current and potential stock-outs at the store level, along with recommendations on how to best resolve or prevent. Also identifies locations in which store-level on-hand inventory falls short of Perfect Shelf — or desired presentation shelf minimum — enabling teams to keep shelves stock at an optimum merchandising level. Tracks Lost Sales and Revenue at Risk metrics.
- Store-level Instock
- Monitors instock levels by item throughout all of a retailer's stores, anticipating the locations that are trending below desired thresholds. With graphical dashboards based on the most up-to-date demand information available, teams can take action to improve the metric before customers complain.
- Store Forecast Variance
- Identifies and predicts situations — at a minimum, two weeks in advance — where actual demand deviates from the POS forecast (either higher or lower) by any specified margin, down to the store/SKU level. Presents the day-by-day financial impact of a forecast variance in the days leading up to a variance event and subsequent days beyond. With the ability to stay ahead of unseen demand variations, teams have more options to correct situations in order to avoid excesses or stock-outs, and the facts necessary to correct retailers' store-level forecasts. Tracks Forecast Variance and Demand Trend metrics.
- Weeks of Supply
- Exposes situations in which on-hand inventory at the store level exceeds desired levels. Gives teams the timely insight necessary to slow the rate of orders to avoid costly excesses and returns.
- Stores Not Scanning
- Immediate insight that pinpoints locations that show on-hand inventory and apparent demand, yet no sales are reported, which may indicate store anomalies like missing end-caps, mis-stocked items, or shrink. Leverages RFID, where available, to track product from the backroom to the floor. Enables teams to address anomalies before revenue is impacted and arms merchandising teams with the specific information they need to investigate problem locations or items.
- Promotion Variance
- Identifies, by item — in the first days of a promotion — stores where promotional lift is higher or lower than expected. Can utilize RFID data to track product from the backroom to the floor, to determine if store anomalies are contributing to the variance. Integrated with Store-Level Stock-Out and Stores Not Scanning applications, enables real-time execution to improve promotion performance.
