Blue Agave Appoints Doug Percy President and CEO

Company Growth Fueled by Market Need for Demand-Driven Solutions

CAMBRIDGE , Mass. (August 3, 2004) — Douglas R. Percy has been named president and CEO of Blue Agave Software, Inc., the fast-growing company that gives consumer goods suppliers the first real-time solution for dramatically improving operating performance to simultaneously maximize service and revenue.

Percy brings more than 25 years of experience leading high-growth software and services companies in fast-moving markets. His expertise in enterprise sales, new business development and successfully managing rapid expansion, including an IPO, coincides with Blue Agave's increasing market traction. Percy replaces Joe Chappell, one of four company founders.

Percy was most recently CEO and chairman of W3Health Corp., whose decision support analysis system manages risk and controls costs for healthcare organizations, which, like manufacturers, must manage extremely complex supply chains. Percy's manufacturing industry experience includes nearly a decade at Pansophic Systems, where he was vice president and general manager of its applications software division. In just three years, he increased revenue more than 400 percent, and completed a significant acquisition and five strategic partnerships.
